Aires of the Heart bring the soulful melodies of O’Carolan, Burns, and Yeats to your living room, lifting the spirit. Former members of the Third Coast Ceili Band, the recent duo features Lorie McCloud on Celtic fingerstyle guitar, recorder and vocals and Gail Blanpied on the harp. Lorie is a folk singer/songwriter whose voice stirs the Celtic soul. Her recordings include In My Living Room, & What Did You Expect? A music practitioner, Gail has studied the healing nature of sound for wellness and transition. They invite you to listen with your heart to this work in progress. Close your eyes, go inside and breathe. Allow the ancestral tunes to soften the layers of tension, opening, rocking the heart. |
